RochesterJoannster 4,125
My girl Avril isn’t losing as hard as I expected her to lose to Pink (I was thinking Avril would have less than 20% for sure. Good thing Pink seems to have gotten boring or whatever it is she did/didn’t do). Edited 21 hours ago by RochesterJoannster

Her album sales overall (for her first 3 anyway) were more impressive than her singles. Exactly! The singles numbers don't translate how big she really was

The singles numbers don't translate how big she really was Her trajectory is similar to how I expect Gaga’s would have been without the side projects, ASIB, and Mayhem eras to regularly revitalize public interest in her. Now she’s a legacy touring act (but I do love when she puts out new music) Edited 19 hours ago by RochesterJoannster
RochesterJoannster 4,125
Now that this thread got me checking Avril’s streams, I must say I’m very proud of Goodbye Lullaby (4th album, considered her first flop) for getting more streams than Under My Skin (2nd album, released during heyday) . Wish You Were Here was considered a flop in its time, but it gets streams. Even What The Hell was considered a disappointment compared to Girlfriend’s unmatchable success, and that does very well today.

Ployd 875
Pink has a stronger discography overall but Avril's earl songs are better then any Pink song so I voted Avril.
PinkJelly 1,837
I loved them both, Avril during her first two albums, then P!NK’s ‘Try This’, ‘I’m Not Dead’ into ‘Funhouse’ was also just as good. I fear Avril has the lasting cultural impact though.
