Yeah, Trump/RFK Jr. basically exploited people’s (rightful) concern about a lot of chemicals and additives in food as an on-ramp to gin up mistrust in regulatory agencies, thus making food + water *less safe* by wholesale de-regulating instead of imposing more stringent food safety and health standards on corporations (which would be the true “MAHA” approach)

I would be concerned too if my orange juice was literally neon orange instead of yellow  also chlorine washes on chicken is crazy cookoo to me

Those are just the US nationalists/ separatists who think anything that isn't the USA is third world trash. They're both oblivious and highly aware of fluoride in our (US) water because they took Alex Jones as gospel when he did the whole "they put flouride in the water to turn the freakin' frogs gay" but their dissonance won't let them think anything outside the country is any good.

I feel the need to apologize for them on behalf of the sane of us who aren't absolute basket cases

Damn and we were already kinda not so great even before that, so now it’s terrible 😭. There is really nothing good about this current administration 😭
