Morphine Prince 110,031 Posted August 11 Share Posted August 11 HOUSTON â A legal settlement requiring Texas Children's Hospital to create what Attorney General Ken Paxton calls the country's first "detransition clinic" has been finalized, the attorney general's office announced Wednesday. Under the agreement, the hospital must open the clinic by the end of October, pay $10 million to resolve state and federal Medicaid fraud claims and permanently revoke the privileges of multiple physicians. The agreement also requires the hospital to permanently revoke the medical staff privileges of multiple physicians and amend its bylaws so performing gender-transition procedures results in the automatic loss of medical staff privileges. Paxton alleged the hospital improperly billed Texas Medicaid for gender-transition procedures using false diagnosis codes. "This historic settlement is a resounding defeat for the radical gender ideology that has preyed on Texas children under the guise of 'care,'" Paxton said in a statement Wednesday. "This settlement sends an unmistakable message: if you put radical ideology over children's health, my office will go after you." Can we just break the binary and be whoever we want to be who cares how child or adults want to present i hate how sis straight ppl push gender on their children so much , hair clothes toys colors etc itâs so bizarre why is gender so important I understand itâs a very touchy and complicated subject but these are genuine thoughts I have people shouldnât have to transition in the first place because they should be allowed to be who they authentically are in the first place without any questions asked and if someone wants surgery to feel more confident in their own body, then that is their decision I love me some cosmetic surgery sorry I understand this is an extreme take, but yeah I feel like the gender binary is what makes people feel like an outcast because a lot of the time they are not one or the other , we are all a little bit of everything , weâre all a mix of masculine snd feminine and we gotta normalize being BOTH instead of trying to be only one in order to feel like you belong and fit in and are safe in this world Edited August 11 by Controversiaga Pronounced like âBalenciagaâ . People are so restricted by social norms that they devalue or hate anything that proves to go outside of those. Thatâs why they hate the LGBTQ+ community because weâre free from literally every patriarchal and restrictive norm theyâve been taught their whole lives.
