I mean Epstein island existed over the course of decades (as early as the 90s at the very least currently). 

The influence of it's reach isn't confind to Trump. 

But equally, Trump either is in far worse than others or is just totally out of his depth politically (genuinely could be both tbh) and has proven far more susceptible to the IDF & Netanyahu government pressure campaign while in office. 
Should also be looked at through the lense of the change in Israeli government makeup, it's shifted increasingly right wing over the last decade and it's no coincidence that America's israel policies have shifted that way as well across both political parties and Trump & Biden's stints in office. All the various methods the Israeli government use (funding, blackmail, bribery etc (which all states of wealth do)) have been focused on making American politics swing to the right with them in the region.

Strikes me as something of a Manchurian Candidate situation, given that Epstein said in an email to Michael Wolfe in 2015-2016 that he had enough leverage to effectively control Trump as president

Bear in mind they did this for many elites not just Trump. I don’t think they knew he’d be president but keeping elites in their pocket across the board was the broader MO

Mhmm. There’s plenty of forever trumpers bc they’re morons but MTG and Carlson turning is meaningful. They do represent portions of the U.S. political makeup and Trump is a massive disappointment to many who see him as a foreign war and foreign interest president who promised to be otherwise

That's what I mean to an extent... they had many other rich powerful men with evidence to use but it feels like only within the last few years they have really amped up their influence in US politics/MAGA/etc and took control. Idk!! Feels like they are taking credit for more than they can, getting very very lucky. but for sure they've done a lot of evil stuff to get here

I think it’s more that their surveillance apparatus and efforts to put the right people in power have taken hold so they don’t need to be as quiet about it anymore. I mean, The Clintons are compromised and they go back decades and have influenced democratic politics ever since. I think they’re just incredibly emboldened now but the moves have been happening for longer. But yeah I’m sure there’s some things they’re taking credit for out of their arrogance or over-asserting their role
