Also she clearly stated she'd have to return to that headspace which idk if any of us want that from her since she had a horrible time. I wanna hear her version of something new and groundbreaking, like a Ray of light or Impossible princess, or perhaps her version of something like Hold the girl/Sawayama. Or even a pop jazz fusion album where she combines the off the hook moments of Harlequin and vocal chaos in combination of a fierce hunty slay moment of Abracadabra or Bad romance. Yeah, if anything, I feel like MAYHEM delivered on the ethos of ARTPOP better than ARTPOP did (“I’m not one icon, I’m every icon”), so I don’t really see the point in an ACT II. I’d be interested in hearing some of the songs from the vault (Tea, Tinnitus, Onion Girl), but other than that, I’m more than happy to close that chapter. I like how some artists do anniversary editions and put songs from the vault on them. If Gaga ever decides to or if she is ever able to release those vault tracks I think that’d be a more appropriate way to do it. I'm here for an ARTPOP anniversary edition with Tea, Tinnitus, Temple, Onion Girl, Brooklyn Nights etc. any unreleased song we could get would do but not as an official album. Back in 2023 I was fully here for Act 2 to come out that year but now that we have Mayhem she's finally making BIG songs again and if Disease, Abra and Vanish Into You is just the start of many great songs coming in the next few years then I'd rather see her focus on new music, not old demos. As already mentioned here, the expectations for that album is waaayyy to high now, and everybody has their own different idea on how it should sound and look like. Be it the old demos or new songs. Also, how that time wasn't great time for her etc. so I can see why she wouldn't want to revisit that era again.
