Best represents the concept/theme of the music?

The Fame Monster artwork with the intentionally bad/cheap-looking dark wig & the mascara tears

(even though I prefer the blonde one)

to me, chromatica

the struggle of being trapped by the weight of one's own mind and mental health

the sine is her creation spawned from her mind and it has her crushed and trapped

Perfect for the message she is trying to convey (having reached fame but now it is not all it's cracked up to be... she is seeing the ugly side of celebrity, etc... much like a bad wig reveals itself to be bad once you're up-close with it, the non-existent hairline/part glaringly obvious lol)

It is very much a "Halloween store" wig (again, intentionally) but yes I think it's great for the record

I think I've always preferred the blonde one because that's the artwork I saw first, though (also because the front-facing posture & the severe jacket are just so great)

The cover is dark and colorful but has such a heavy, claustrophobic atmosphere - it has something. The pink neon light could be an indication that in addition to the heavy trauma, there is also life and ideas, creativity. Even if it feels artificial at first.

I also prefer this blonde cover over the dark one, it's very classy.

Ugh, now I'm arguing with MYSELF, because ARTPOP also works here.

The album is a billowing dumpster fire of "inspired" impulses, creative excess & lack of restraint in many ways...

the busy, noxious, eyesore visual is VERY MUCH representative of that

DESTROY UR DISEASE

Imma say ARTPOP

it's bold, it's colorful, there is so much happening (like on the record itself), she also put art pieces together in the background

and also Gaga herself looks kinda like a sculpture here, just look at her hair - almost like if it was carved out, like an actual statue. She's turned herself into a work of art and slapped it onto a pop record :koons:

I can smell your sickness I can...

And the Koon ball looks great with the pink. It may seem overloaded, but it's a sweet attempt... she gives birth to art. Lady Gaga was not vain enough to stage herself out of flesh and blood, but gave priority to a sculpture of herself. Yes there is a lot happening on the cover, like the a little chaotic dance-pop on ARTPOP.

This sums MAYHEM up really nicely for me....feeling fractured in some way

She looks here a little like the brother of Marylin Manson. But yeah it has the same message like the first MAYHEM cover with the mirror.
