I believe the Dems had the House in 2020, so a different ball game really. None of us know how it's going to turn out in November, and it may turn out well, the numbers for the Dems might just be too strong, but those bad guys are pretty bad - they won't be bringing a knife to a gunfight, that's for sure. Meanwhile the Dems will probably send a strongly-worded letter.

Not really relevant, given that the only scenario where the House would’ve come into play would’ve been if, somehow, the electoral slates from the swing states had been thrown out, which would throw the election to the House delegation to vote for the President, but even at that: the GOP had the majority of House *delegations* (which is how that voting process goes), so the House GOP could’ve stolen the election in 2020 if the elector gambit played out, but it didn’t.

Ah, ok, so in that specific context the GOP effectively DID have the House. Fair enough.

My concern is more general though. In a nutshell, Mike Johnson for Nancy Pelosi is not a good swap.

Dems had control of the House but thats not really important in the certification vote. 

Because the process is this since Jan 6th:

1/5th (20%) of both the Senate & House must formally object in writing. 

And then it would require a majority in both chambers to reject it formally.
