I'll concede this much, though: the first 7 seconds of Perfect Illusion are more intriguing/exciting/hype than the first 7 seconds of Perfect Celebrity

Tbf that’s how I feel in this thread, given that when I did a power ranking of Gaga’s discog, both PI and PC were right next to each other as 14 and 13 

I genuinely don’t get the PI hate, tbh. A song about deep seated disillusionment and failure to achieve catharsis that feels like vomiting up your soul is, imo, not only one of the most ambitious and nuanced vibes she’s gone for, but it also just rips.
