RAMROD 117,203
At least seven people have died in Thailand after a teenage boy shot his grandparents and then went on a shooting spree at a local secondary school. Police have said five teachers were killed before the 14-year-old gunman turned the weapon on himself. Thailand's Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said the attack was "well prepared". A 31-year-old teacher who asked not to be named described hearing gunshots and screaming pupils as the attack unfolded: "One of the teachers killed...was my friend." Students who escaped the shooting have spoken of their shock, with one girl describing seeing a teacher shot in front of her and climbing over a fence to escape. The Debsirin School at the centre of the shooting has announced it will be closed next week, 10-14 August. Debsirin is a well-known secondary school that has branches across Thailand. The original campus was founded by the country's royal family in 1885. Many public figures in Thailand have attended the school - including diplomats, athletes, prime ministers, and several royals themselves - and it is widely associated with educational prestige. Its branch in Nonthaburi, where the shooting happened, is located in the north-western outskirts of Bangkok. https://www.bbc.com/news/live/cvgjnz67ymzt https://www.instagram.com/reel/DbvQOwdCaG2/?igsh=OHd5ampmMjl0MGp2 (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ ᶠʳᵒⁿᵗ ᵗᵒʷᵃʳᵈ ᵉⁿᵉᵐʸ (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡
