This is the thing tho… it IS that serious… you said it yourself they say spamming every thread with their BS takes and ruin everything for everyone having an experience with gaga’s music and I truly hate this.. like this should not be happening at a fansite, like take me and you for example we have genuine love for gaga’s are but all we see being discussed is these people’s “opinions”

Literally nobody who ever complains about constant discourse thinks or wants that. I am largely unaffected by anything I read here (amused, confused, horrified mostly) but I will occasionally jump in to back-up people that are, they seem to get ripped to shreds for wanting less critical cynicism.

Like I get it, back when I was a MUCH bigger fan (before I grew into myself & prioritised other things) I had to make it a rule to never visit this site around a release because the onslaught of negativity kind of poisoned it.

And yeah the expectation is obviously to be honest if you like or dislike something & explain why - but your 'demands' will never affect the outcome of her work. Having them & feeling the need to air them all out is wasted typing and energy, honestly 

The healthiest thing to do is assume the only person who fully knows the process - reasonings - intention of the music is Gaga and have as little expectations as possible, see if you respond to the work or not

Idk if I hear Alanis, but definitely is a throw back to that era of soft rock/pop rock. And the spirit of jagged little pill definitely fits that section of mayhem

Someone getting offended people are analyzing mayhem's similarities with other artists work and Gaga doing her student of music thing on an album that we love and nobody is talking sh*t about but they think we are cause they can't read and are assuming we don't love Gaga anymore

Half this site rags on Hair everytime we do a Born This Way rating etc. 

Meanwhile, I'm a 30 yr old who loves it. So I ignore those people's opinions because they are irrelevant to my enjoyment of the song. 

It really is that simple.

I feel yall are not seeing the big picture.. me for example I loved joanne and chromatica so much I was aware that they weren’t liked by a lot of LMs and I was aware that there was a lot of nasty takes but back then I literally didn’t give a single F*** and never interacted with these people, but it became so annoying with mayhem ( album and era) because it’s like a perfect album and there’s nothing really to hate about it yet we still have to deal with these people 😭like it’s so tiring when will it stop and the most annoying part is that it’s only common in gaga’s community which is truly a shame I feel these people need to be clocked no shade
