For me I think it's mainly just the vocals, if it was more like the way she sang Happy Mistake it would be a lot nicer to listen to. But it also sounds like a mourning song. I remember seeing a reaction video and she thought it was a breakup song and when they heard "how could a man like me love a woman like you" they reacted like it was a horrible insult which it can come across that way too 15 hours ago, nATAH said: it's not about him, it was just inspired by his name because they were talking about him Like John Wayne

Kayioshka 3,397
I don’t get it. Unless if it was about an aesthetized version of the angel Michael bc he is an angel and he showed a sign from above : I don’t get why would the lyrics would be this : "See his angel smile, his devilish lips controlling you" And about him...? Him, that even little monster struggle to characterize considering how much silent he is. She should have exploited the silence : According to Rebecca on this photo he has devilish lips... He inspire me like the expression of a flegmatic father. Or maybe she was thinking about both of them lol... It’s so post-modern tho, so I support. I can see two lines refering Ga's songs tho : "He's on your mind" "Sign from above" Probably under substances... An alchemist is born !

It’s easily her worst ballad in any of her albums.
