Ooh are you being Islamophobic? :flutter:

'Cause I can ban for that :flutter:

CAIR is an American group btw :flutter:

AIPAC is also an American group. But that’s not the point.

you clearly have to do your research on CAIR. It’s literally labeled a terrorist organization in the UAE, Texas and Florida due to ties to the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas. UAE is a Muslim country and considers CAIR a terrorist organization, so it’s clearly not ‘Islamophobia.’

Fauxgressives be like: “I’m against AIPAC and Israel, so let me vote for someone with deep ties to CAIR to combat foreign influence.”

🤡

They can voice their support all they want, fact is he hasn’t taken a dime from any CAIR affiliated PACs, meanwhile Stevens has taken $35M from AIPAC 🤡

I'm not trusting the evil despots that are Greg Abbott, Ron DeSantis, and the emirs to determine what a terror organization is.

In fact, I would not consider AIPAC to be a terror organization either, simply because they themselves don't carry out physical political, racial or religious violence, which is a standard requirement for such a designation. They fund the IDF, but they aren't the IDF on the ground.

Those fine distinctions aside, I find it ridiculous that you're putting faith in those sources of information

Texas and Florida designated it a terrorist organization literally last year. As a Floridian, if you're looking to this state for moral or ethical guidance you've already lost the plot :ladyhaha:

And the UAE put it on a list along with 85 other civil rights organizations based in the US, many of them Muslim, in 2014 and the US State Department opposed that designation.

CAIR also denies all allegations that they're even remotely tied to Hamas or other groups like them. The ADL made those allegations. The ADL also alleges antisemitism any time Israel is even looked at funny so excuse me if I don't take it seriously.

Enough propaganda.

So I will say that I personally - as a Jew and a progressive - think that the focus on Israel and AIPAC can be a bit too dog-whistle-ish at times, it is leagues ahead of what other groups are doing. Imagine if the United States was itself funding Saudi Arabia and Iran and officials in the Democratic Party were coordinating with those governments to influence races in the US.

That would be awful, and that's not what's happening thankfully

The issue I and many others have with AIPAC is the complicity of so many American elected officials at all levels of government with the Israeli government and military, particularly regarding their ethnic cleansing in Gaza

I’m not Jewish, but it’s tiring and overwhelming seeing progressive focus solely on Israel and AIPAC.

Like I said before, they are alienating Jewish voters, who make up 50% of all donations to the Democratic Party.

@Stylor in every thread trying to justify writing Israel a blank check while attempting to smear anyone critical of Israel, its actions, or its proxies

And I agree with that to an extent, as I stated in the first sentence of that post. But it ultimately can and does resonate with voters if you show them where so many of their tax dollars are flowing to and funding

Yeah, why would Americans care about the influence of a foreign country that cajoled the US into a forever war with Iran? Incredibly weird that people would care about something like that. /s

I still don't understand...

20% of Americans wanted war with Iran, 90% of Israelis wanted it.

Why are WE at war and not THEM? :madge:

Our gas and food prices skyrocket and we're burning billions of dollars for what? To make Netanyahu happy?

And I also don't understand how it isn't clear to everyone that the Israeli lobby spending literal fortunes for candidates isn't a direct effort to buy votes in our congress to perpetuate conflicts like that on Israel's behalf.

It's literally as simple as 2+2=4 :cyanlights:

Yet, you frequently ignore the valid concerns of both American Jews and Israelis on here. The fact that you are further right than folks on here who were literally born in Israel on this issue is genuinely wild lmao

It is also, apparently, antisemitic to acknowledge that Trump, Hegseth, Rubio, Netanyahu, and Smotrich have said that the US is going to war with Iran for Israel.

Anyway, propaganda and obfuscating aside: currently 52-45 Al-Sayed with 22% of the vote in.

What was that other sh*t Trump did recently?

Promised Saudi Arabia a nuclear program, ironed out a deal, and then at the last minute said "oh but they have to acknowledge Israel" and the Saudis went "huh? 👀"

May Trump be our last zionist president
