Sadly the Internet is a bad place to discuss publicly and respectfully of this topic. 

The concerns are real, but it could only be poorly handled and that's what tragic. It's not because there is window between the stars and the people that the communication is good. It's too personal to be discussed on some Twitter threads. Personally I didn't addressed this on Twitter because I get rid of this horrible place since already two years. Same for TikTok that I no longer use. And on Insta I'm mostly silent. I only addressed it with other fans on this forum.

If someone use the image of her body against her beliefs, it will necessarily cause chaos and more dissociation/body dysmorphia if there is something like that. On the other hand, I also think that promoting her body's condition is nor a good thing, but I think that except her creative team and editorial, there isn't a wave of thinness because of her (It's more in the Kpop fanbases or some insta adepts circles that you get girls having ED to imitate the shapes of other women). I don't know what Ariana has. Ari will forever be pretty to me, so anyone calling her ugly or weird is really out of touch, this isn't even the subject of this conversation. But I think that she something that makes her vulnerable, and only her relatives and her, can resolve this. I don't like her label, and some ppl in her team. I think it's really since she joined the Wicked cast that she lost a lot of weight. The same pattern appeared on Cynthia and Michelle Yeoh. Cynthia also received a lot of hate and deshumanizing comments... Maybe Ariana's relatives are already taking care of her and that's why in public she prefer not to speak about it. Who knows ?

I saw disgusting, really disgusting comments on her body or edits exaggerating her features... All for the sake of the bad buzz. Internet is chaos.

They demonized her for a private affair with some random guy that isn't even a star... Like wow ? Internet think they can even say to a woman what she should do in her bed and who can be her love interest too ? I defended the idea that 1 it's her private life, 2 there are worse problems in hollywood than an hypothetical "cheating" (bc again ppl were assuming they knew the whole truth about this).

At this point I really don't care if she continue or not her career just because I'm a fan. But I sincerly hope she will stay strong and get a lot of love in her life.

I recently stumbled upon this video of Taylor Swift talking about her ED and what she says it's true. Ari might convince herself she's healthy but she's definitely not. And also part of what helped stop was that time she went away of the public eye for a whole year so it's the best decision for ariana to stay away from work for a while.

Hope all the assholes here and other online spaces are ****ing happy now. It might be an ed, but it also might be some other underlying illness. Or it might be ozempic. But above all its noones fvcking business to comment on her looks, because that might trigger something even worse. It’s normal.

When you stop caring about all the caricatures the audience does of you, you can finally fully reflect on your true self and be honest.

The true love from relatives and not from the shallow industry also help to focus on what really matters.

I hope she takes a break and then come back to educate all the rats that deshumanized her and didn’t helped her. With this come back, she would be at her peak of her higher self.

We have a moral imperative to make it clear to young girls being influenced by her that this is not healthy whayever the cause and that it is not "goals" as some young people have been commenting in respect to her body. 

Regardless of the specifics of the cause behind Ari's recent body image - the simple fact is that for the vast majority of people the only way to achieve such a body image that they are labelling as "body goals" is through dangerous dieting and self-harm. And if we sit in silence and do nothing about it, all the work of the last 2 decades to combat pro-ana propaganda like "heroin chic" in the 90s etc.
