I listened to an ED specialist talking about Ari’s appearance recently and she mentioned how she appeared to be at the point where her body was literally using protein from muscle tissue in order to sustain itself and part of what lead to Karen Carpenter’s death was heart failure due to wasting of muscles in her heart caused by that same process. FWIW, Carpenter’s physique also looked a lot like where Ari is rn. She really needs help.

Marketing teams aren't stupid. They know exactly how this partnership is going to be perceived, and that's precisely why it feels so gross. They get the headlines, the engagement, the discourse, and they don't seem to care that they're exploiting years of public concern surrounding Ariana's appearance to promote an album.

Right now I’m as thin “by choice” and I can still lose a good 30 pounds, and I’d still be alive, just unwell

She’s probably ill, I’m not resistant to that

I’m resistant to the idea that it has to be mentionned 24/7 and accelerated by the internet, further making people talk about it all the time. I, myself, end up talking about it and I don’t like that.

People did the same thing to Amy which was most likely in a much worse state and as far as I know, it didn’t particularily help anyone.

I understand the concern. These things can deteriorate quite rapidly. But read what people say again - many people are bashing her.
