Some artists work with a small team (so themselves and 1-3 producers who end up receiving credit as well). Others have writing camps (teams of 10-20+ people writing material, submitting to the artist, and then repeating until the artist likes/has enough material). Anyway, he said himself that he didn't feel that he deserved the credit because very often, she's just inspired by something he said and she turns it into lyrics.
