HotLikeMexico 6,664
But on topic I wouldn’t want her to released an ARTPOP or Chromatica again. Chromatica especially with how the era turned out was discombobulated, so I don’t need it again Regarding ARTPOP, it was dated on arrival. I think if she released an album like ARTPOP again, it has to be something actually experimental. She’ll probably never do an album like this again, but I’d love for her to go the Bjork route with a project like that. StrawberryBlond 15,616
The Fame and Chromatica. Not that those albums were bad, not at all. I loved TF when it came out and it was what made me a fan and Chromatica was still a decent electropop album. But I just think she's head and shoulders above that style now, she's at a level so much higher. If she went down that road again, I'd see it as such a regression. I'm sure she could still make good electropop but if it's of the calibre of those albums...no. It's sad to see so many of you said Joanne considering that album was very important to her and caused her to reclaim her true artistic roots. I don't think we'd have the Gaga we have today if it weren't for that album.

badmonsterkid 130
Chromatica but Only cause of her headspace while she was making it. I honestly wouldn’t mind a Joanne 2.0 especially now that she’s older.

I never hated the album but it’s been a while since I listened to it in full. I’ve however been listening to PI a lot recebtly and so I was excited for the day I got my record to relisten to the entire album. It’s honestly a great album, and it doesn’t deserve the hate it gets. I think the album has aged really well and will probably be seen as a timeless entry in her discog. Really great writing and production across the whole thing and my only real beef with the album is the engineering and with the era is that she didn’t lean into the campiness of the country Western aesthetic a bit more (tho I understand why she didn’t) We have forgotten our public MANNERS 3
