Chilean fans shout “NO” as Rosalía says “let the earth shake and rumble”

What was supposed to be another night of celebration for Rosalía in Chile ended up turning into an unexpected storm on social media. In the midst of her successful LUX Tour, the Spanish artist uttered a phrase that many fans interpreted as an unfortunate reference to the earthquakes that have shaped the country’s history. The result was immediate: criticism, calls for cancellation, and an intense debate online.

“Let the earth shake and rumble,”("que tiemble y que retumbe la tierra") Rosalía said as she began her show at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, a remark that quickly sparked a wave of criticism in Chile, a country highly prone to earthquakes.x
