The only role he’s ever offered her I wish she could’ve done was Donatella in ACS Looking back at Versace, the role was pretty offensive, it felt like they dumbed her down to a sexy “strong woman” with money, which she is literally not, she rebuilt a collapsed kingdom without a king through her own grief and a crazy amount of vultures trying to take their loot from Versace’s dead body. I know that Donatella was cool with it and even sent flowers to Penelope, but unlike the character from the show, the real Donatella is a smart strong woman and it was the smartest thing to do, instead of complaining and becoming the victim to the public eye. If any Lady Gaga return is meant to happen it will as the Countess seeing where the season is going Ariana Grande was 100% playing a witch from the Coven. I will argue on that hill for a while about how NYC is not only a good season but is up there next to Coven, Freakshow, Hotel, and Murder House. it’s no Asylum but NYC is definitely the closest he came to an AHS redemption because the plot was there, the ending was good, and it had a unique vibe that felt new. I loved NYC, I loved how the ending was handled and how they made the horror being that it was actually real and not really supernatural after all. Also loved Patti LuPone singing in the bath house for them like she used to actually do back in the day in her early years. That and Red Tide I enjoyed too. 1984 had potential if they played it differently. Like the link to the Night Stalker was unnecessary I think. Nothing compares to those 4. I like a few of the other seasons such as Murder House, Roanoke, Apocalyse and NYC. But it's Asylum, Freakshow, Coven and Hotel that are untouchable.
