River 127,952
I always felt like Kylie was more "gay" and Madonna was more "for gays", but gays never really appreciated her activism for gays, like how they never appreciates Gaga's activism, they always find a reason why it's never satisfying and always wants more and more, like putting the whole LGBTQ+ fight on the shoulders of 2 women, while most of them barely goes to a gay pride because it's hot or their legs hurts. So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

ALGAYDO 35,224
Madonna will stay the queen of the gays until her unfortunate death, she just did SO MUCH for our community at a time where it was career-suicide for most artists to be associated with our fággotry. Then Gaga will inherit the throne. 3 1
weed 79,096
with musicians the top 4 is undoubtably Madonna, Kylie, Mariah, and Gaga. They all made their own impact. and Barbara! Judy Garland, Elizabeth Taylor are also up there. Cher! Billie Jean! Princess Diana! I am obviously biased but I think Madonna is #1, Gaga #2. doppelganger 4,021
Madonna is a trailblazer and prototype of a pop star gay rights activist. Gaga inherited that for a generation of millennials. Gaga's activism has somewhat softened over the years, and also gotten less controversial as she gets older. Madonna's still pushing boundaries (although her music isn't really my cup of tea anymore). For that reason alone, Madonna gets my vote.
Helxig 45,455
Judy Garland Cher Madonna/Kylie Gaga/Britney For different generations. The reason there isn't ONE is because it depends who was there for you during your formative years when it really mattered. But these are all women who have spoken in support of the gays and to whom gays have been drawn to because of their magnetic star power and 'strong woman' status I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
SavetheEarthNow 173
Princess Diana. At a time everyone was crucifying gay people and people with AIDS, Princess Diana did the unthinkable. 6
Kayioshka 3,434
Her !! And maybe Donna Summer if she didn’t made these biggoted comments on the queer community at the end of her career. Visually and sonically she paved the way for Madonna and all the others. Edited July 26 by Kayioshka Probably under substances... gagzus 23,772
Madonna and Gaga are on equal footing really I think. Gaga only over takes her because she put it in her music directly as well. I’m sure someone will probably come and quote me and tell me how Madonna has songs about things, which I’m sure she does but it’s definitely not as explicit and literal as the lyrics to Born This Way (the song) is.
