ryan murphy has made way more slop and garbage than the other directors she's worked with

the countess is an incredibly monotone role for her + her style falls in line with gaga's brand of fashion, i wouldn't describe that as strong material if it's something she's already used to

at least in HoG, she had to step into the shoes of somebody else entirely who actually exists and Harlequin is a very complex character herself

Ok, it is an interesting rumor actually. I loved the Countess so much and I truly wanted her to show up for a couple of scenes BUT... the alleged schedules' conflict may be a sine from above that she's gonna do sth cool anytime soon. As long as this doesn't mean working on rumored Beyonce collab only or editing the Mayhem Ball DVD herself, I allow myself to get a bit excited. Nevertheless I hope she finds time to show up in at least two looks, a couple of scenes amd steals the show. She's proven many times during last couple of years that she can rearrange her plans impromptu and squeeze a lot in her schedule (Grammy's 2026, Oscar's 2023, VMA's 2025). I was sure her motherhood time has just begun, but who knows... It's Gaga after all

No shade but Ryan Murphy shows are regularly still collecting Emmys nominations and wins. This year included.

In all honesty I don't think Gaga was 100% necessary for a legacy / all stars season anyway. All fan favorite original cast members are back this year and I don't really think Gaga is that demanded in the fan community. More like a cute addition if she's back. There's a lot more fans currently asking for updates on Denis O'Hare, Lily Rabe and Taissa Farmiga tbh

no shade but his work is still garbage, especially his monster series and how the relatives of the victims felt about those shows...

one of his shows recently went viral being a damn hot mess so gaga is better off staying away

he's also known to be a horrid man to work with, look at how he treated some of the glee cast

I trully don't think Jessica Lange would have signed as series regular in a new AHS season if the story wasn't strong especially after spending like almost a decade ruling out any type of full time return. Same for Frances Conroy agreeing returning from her retirement.

Fun fact : Hotel is still the lowest rated season of the show to date. (Pretty sure the fact it's the first season without Jessica Lange didn't help)

Quite stunned by the fact Cult, Apocalypse and 1984 were so so well received by critics. Delicate also did fine

Still think NYC is so underrated, it would have been so liked by the fans if released in early years tbh

I wasn't talking about the season itself, but the rumors.
