It’s unsettling to see a celebrity wear historical items like this when my personal opinion is that society needs to preserve these artifacts as much as possible for future generations. That said, I’m also happy this situation is bringing awareness to Irans rich history and culture - something a lot of westerners are ignorant of due to the political situation in Iran today.

What’s crazy is that there are surely some real criticisms to be had for wearing such old, most likely “looted” artifacts, but these extra ridiculous arguments laid on top to try and malign a person’s character just make it seem like a bitter tear down. 

also Zendaya is half-descended from a country that has also been looted by the West as well so it's not like she's just some other random Karen
