I wanna start saying that I love both. The disease video we knew about, I think, JW was dropped as a surprise. Disease was the 1st single of the album, JW was the third (?). I do love how the JW was like a continuation of the million reasons video. Disease was the opening visual for mayhem (?). The color scheme in JW is definitely more on the colorful side, while Disease was more on the dark aesthetics. I do love the visual words on the JW video. and I do love that Gaga was the protagonist, and supporting actors, and the mastermind, and the only talent on disease, I think that speaks volume on her creative mind. one thing I also enjoy from JW is the sound effects that were added. the timelines of the videos I feel, are a little similar, the old gaga getting gotten by the new or other Gaga versions. Lovely. I think this is a subject she likes to revisit. (her chasing her on her car while Zombieboy plays, her stepping on her back while the lady in red looks, etc) I do love them both, I think I like JW a little more cause it was unexpected. I'd say JW is slightly more polished, whereas Disease gives me student project at times in terms of production + lighting. Disease is more creative though and the aesthetic is more up my alley.
