It was written like almost 3000 years ago. Who actually ****ing cares about the accuracy of accent/fashion/race and all that? It’s impossible to know. It was cool the cast was just a whole bunch of different races and faces and it made it feel more authentic and old world in a weird way…like it was from a lost time when all these stupid rules didn’t exist. I will say that every piece of media that is too straight male culture coded kinda irks me (which ofc is also part of the base material).
