Mayhem Requiem Inspirations

Obviously Requiem takes heavily inspiration from synthwave and industrial music. Nine Inch Nails and Kavinsky have even been credited.
Lately I've been so obsessed with this particular mood Requiem brings and I'm looking for songs that resemble that.

I'm looking for songs in particular that resemble the Requiem edition of Zombieboy. I LOVE the dark, slow synthwave and heavy vocoder.

I've also made a Spotify playlist with songs that I think are very similar to the vibe of Requiem in general. (In Your Room reminds me a bit of the Requiem edition of Disease, for some reason)

Spoiler

@HotLikeMexico perhaps you can help in particular? :flutter:

I‘m not too well-versed in the aural / genre niche, so I’m intrigued to see contributions as well … I‘m not sure if these are in the vein you‘re vibing with, but here are a few off the top of mind that felt somewhat proximal (some closer to the Zombieboy revisitation, and others more general Requiem-adjacent … alas, most are a more mid-tempo than slowed) …

Zombieboy reminded me totally of "Kraftwerk" a german band that literally invented Synth-Pop back in the 70's. I Still can't wrap my Head around the fact these Songs are literally 50 Years old as they still sound good to me.

You're totally right!! Now I remember! Zombieboy Requiem sounds very similar to Radioactivity indeed! This is the one I've been looking for regarding Zombieboy.

Omg some of the suggestions are already so good. I’ve been very busy so I’ll have time when I sit down this weekend to send some stuff.

In the meantime I think you might love this.

its not industrial but it’s very much goth/pop, dark wave. I hate comparing people but her voice is if 80s Madonna was a member of Depeche Mode.
