I know this is late to the party, but she’s in a club, she’s being all up in someone’s business and saying “c’mon and hit me. Are we referring to drugs, it’s just a thought that now has been bugging me every time I hear it? Or is she saying hit me with a sick track Mr dj. Or like punch me, bitch, I can’t seem to reason this. I’m sure it’s already discussed but can’t find it and would like your thoughts

i always thought it was referring to the ‘light’  she asked the DJ to hit  but i guess she’s always open to interpretation…

I think it’s just a kitschy throw-in to get the hype going. I always imagined her on the dance floor with her partner saying “hit me” as in, “come on, let’s dance”, “let’s party btch, let’s go” etc.
