The VMA Chromatica medley for example was removed one year after its release, I believe there is only a version by mtv germany available 

Yeah, I’d assume it’s a copyright thing-same sort of thing also happened with the VMA Paparazzi performance, it was gone for a few years until they reuploaded it

They don’t own the rights to the arrangement or the song. They would only own the rights to the REQUIEM recording, afaik.

The show is no longer on the air as of last month. I'd imagine a lot of his videos will disappear soon.
