Janet Jackson: Underappreciated

I've seen a couple of videos of her shows in japan and I'm completely astonished. 

Still serving high energy choreos at 60 like it's nothing, vocals, facecard and body tea...

I get so mad when I think about the fact she got canceled for a 1 second boob apparition on tv. The things she could have given to us those last 20 years if she didn't have to disappear and deal with this trauma for the rest of her career... 

She's not getting the flowers and praise she deserves. I wish she could have her Confessions II comeback too.

She has so many truly incredible albums and videos she is an icon. Control, Rhythm Nation, janet, Velvet Rope, All for You is an insanely strong consecutive album run with a ton of hits and showing depth and growth.

Highly recommend checking out 2015’s Unbreakable album.  It’s beautiful.

I’ve played it many times and to the tour! It was amazing. I just named those five because they were released consecutively and represented a pretty amazing unbroken string of critical and popular smashes and an incredible imperial phase

she is lowering her dance routine a lot compared to her up to 2010 and it’s ok she’s 60 I don’t complain 

it’s so frustrating she got blacklisted in 2004, just before social media started growing massively she missed lots of key years of possible new generations discovering her 

I wished she cared more about her career but she doesn’t seem too interested in it now like she’s just on autopilot doing non too demanding shows and her problematic brother messing everything up as her manager

She is one of the best to ever do it. Rhythm Nation is kind of a precursor of Born This Way in some ways if you think about it.
