It would be obvious to anyone checking my history on this site that I wouldn't piss on Donald Trump if he was on fire. However ...youtube confirms that the world cup trophy was jointly presented by the FIFA president and the head of state of the host nation in 2022, 2014 and 2010, and It probably would have been the same in 2018 if Putin had deigned to come out from under his umbrella. If you search as far back as 1966, when the final was played in London, you can see the England captain Bobby Moore being presented with the trophy solely by Er Majesty The Qwaen, Gawd bless er.

There's a fair chance that Trump will do something to draw humiliation upon himself. Chelsea players openly mocked him after they won the club world cup last year.
