What label are we talking about here? Lady Gaga wrote Paparazzi at least half a year before she signed with Interscope.

Not sure it was during a full talk he did about Paparazzi and diving into the project files for an audience

With the conversation shifting slightly towards creative control, one thing I want to add in this is how abusive managers and other directors can be. Back in April/May 2022, I tried to suggest to a music industry professor that artists like Ava Max and Normani were getting their creativity limited by their labels (such as their album delays) which is why their careers have fallen. I proceeded to get shouted down, interrupted, and told that they were bitter because they were "ungrateful" for the opportunities they were given. And it isn't just me. Let's not forget that one industry professor who came after Chappel Roan because of her statement about artists deserving better pay. I think the reason why Lady Gaga had such a hard time with the like of Laurianne, Richy, Troy, etc. is because they were probably verbally abusive to her for wanting her way.

It's not even just Lady Gaga either. When JoJo cries in her interviews about how her labels weren't letting her release music, it's definitely more than just "they told me no". It was obviously because she was facing vitriol and abuse that she is probably legally not allowed to talk about. There is a reason why some of the people (especially women) with the most creative control are known to be the shadiest (Madonna, Xtina, etc.). That is unfortunately how you have to be. This actually makes Lady Gaga an outlier, because she managed to still be a nice person while fighting tooth and nail behind the scenes with likely abusive label workers to get what she wanted.

I feel like shes a bullshitter. Her and the guys wanted more control and Gaga wanted to keep doing things her way and retain creative control, and thank god she did.

Even though we had the depressed, messiness of ARTPOP as a result, look where we are now.

But we reached the point where pups were taking time out of Darklands in 2025 to film thirst trap tiktoks of them doing the Abracadabra choreo infront of the cranes. 

We had viral videos of Bobs Burgers characters doing the choreo. 

Abra definitely crossed over in a way no Gaga choreo has done since the BTW era.

I also think arguably the only dance move she has than anyone remembers is this anyway

 

And I bet my life savings this was Gaga's suggestion/addition to the choreo since she had been doing this type of movement on tour for months before during songs. 

Abra is probably the only dance she’s had that has went “viral” since this one movement that even now when people say Gaga or imitate her they do the stutter vocals from BR and do the claws.
