There's also a part in it right before the Gaga time stamp where Laurieann talks about Teyana coming out in an egg and it wasn't good like the original since that was her (laurieann) idea. 

 

I felt like Jason shaded Gaga for changing directions when she went from pop to Tony Bennett. 

 

Another thing that bugged me was when Jason was talking about Don Lemon calling him personally and checking him for going to the Ye concert. Jason and Laurieann both went. Anyways she said she don't know anything so she don't know what he's done to make people so outrage with him 🤨

 

Last thing like someone said she proclaim she wasn't around when Diddy did his stuff but she's working with his sons so they can speak their truth and it be done in a right not salacious way

She co-directed You & I and created the choreography for it, they “officially” split to the public in late 2011 after Marry The Night but apparently they butted heads since Judas and they split before Gaga made the MTN video. Marry The Night was the first choreo Richy came up with as her choreographer.

Joseph Kahn is known for being a “my way or the highway” type of director when it comes to creative concepts, he doesn’t allow input or critique at all on set and sets the concept himself. Since they reused the mermaid concept I imagine he did not like or wanted to change it and when they said no and clashed he left.

Very much so yes, Richy pretty much claimed he made the bulk of her best known choreo anyway like Bad Romance and Judas whilst Boomkack “creatively directed and edited” them. Richy was the one who taught Gaga the BR choreo the night before the video shoot for instance.

Parris seems to understand that Gaga is a woman, not a professional dancer, has a hidden disability (fibromyalgia) — she’s successfully made Gaga have more “effeminate” and powerful choreo, edited out mistakes from her old choreo, gave Gaga choreo breaks to catch her breath and not over exert herself. Where as Boomkack treated her like she was a dancing 90s popstar and Richy treated her like she was a male professional dancer — and gave her choreography that literally started off her fibro.

I read her book, she literally goes on about how she molded Gaga and brought out her inner superstar. Aka taking the credit like all those men she’s criticizing. She positions herself as an “artist developer” rather than choreographer.

It’s probably deleted off the internet but Shane Dawson (yeah I know…) used to have a podcast episode with Tyler Oakley and he talked about meeting Laurieann and she spilt a lot of tea. Apparently Gaga only had creative control over her image but the label was heavily involved in the songwriting process. Essentially perfect pop music with weird attention grabbing visuals to keep media attention. Allegedly Gaga’s creative team actually liked her song ideas and encouraged her while her team focused on the business side + Laurieann felt like she was sabotaging her own career and cashed out before it was too late.

So glad to see that in 2026 Gaga has the people around her that she completely feels happy with. Partner, manager, producers, choreographer, band, dancers, etc. it's probably been a hard road for her but it's nice to see she's at the best place right now.
