I like the idea 

and I don’t mind if she’s becoming a nostalgia act. Katy’s career did exactly what it was designed to do - rule the 2000s, and that it did. She completed what they set her out to do. Her attempts to reinvent herself haven’t been successful, because her career relied very heavy on the pop domination of that era. The machine no longer exists in that capacity therefore the system she anchored herself in has cooled after its massive explosion. So logically, she will also as she is was part of it. I enjoy being reminded of the time when pop was THE music .

I don’t think she would because she seems to have some sort of emotional attachment to hers, where as I think Katy just kind of viewed them a builder would a drill in his truck

She’s already reworn a lot and just restyled them especially during the encore of the tour. (Born This Way Jacket, MTN BTWB jacket as two examples) I think the difference is Gaga will do what she did for Abra’s video where they reuse the materials and change the outfits.

She won’t straight up just rewear them she’ll restyle them at least

She specifically said this in the context of being “resourceful” and upcycling, so I imagine what she meant was they would repurpose fabric and material from previous looks to create new looks.
