is he into gay men? :giggle:

Only if you're under 18 I think... I can't tell if he is an actual pedo or just cried about getting invited to the island so he could feel cool

edit: I actually think he is only into women because he has some weird fascination with having a bunch of babies and creating his own gene pool or whatever he is trying to do

It seems like they're all focused on what their place will be in history. Space exploration is cool but not when there are children f'ing dying...

Well, that's the cool thing. We can have space exploration AND no starving people.

The only thing we can't afford is the ego of anyone who has 10+ figures in their networth.

The Nasdaq changed its rules to allow Spacex to enter it's market.
Poses a massive risk to the US citizens with state pensions (so any state/federal gov job) where those savings are stored in passive index funds.

There's a massive pensions shock coming when Musk's empire collapses under the weight of his special-K.

I'm so confused how they value SpaceX at nearly $2 TRILLION but it only makes about $18 billion in revenue a year and doesn't even turn a profit with that.

Fishy sh*t imo.

Edit: Actually yeah :icant:

So, the ridiculous value comes from the rich slobs basically gambling that it'll eventually be a money making machine but...

In 2024, they turned a profit of $700 million

In 2025, they LOST $4.9 billion

In just Q1 of 2026, they LOST $4.3 billion

Figures "tHe WoRlD's FiRsT tRiLlIiOnAiRe" would be a fat f*cking phony. Just like the US economy, his trillionaire status, and potentially entire fortune, is built on the hopes and dreams of rich tech investors and afaik that bubble is already close to bursting.

I don't know how people can live like that even from a human level. Like is it not terrifying having the eyes of the world on you at all times. It reaches a point, or it should

Complete sociopathy. An utter lack of humanity. I wouldn't even call it a person anymore really.

It's the dotcom bubble on steroids. Using pensions funds to finance their lifestyle and experiments to further them knowing full well they can pull out to Argentina if/when it goes tits up

How could you live with yourself not doing anything. Like with that kind of money, even if you can't fix all the problems in the world, you could definitely end two or three of the big ones singlehandedly.

They feel that they have earned that wealth and that their wealth and your lack of are signs of intelligence. Most rich people don't see the poor as human beings that have been wronged but unintelligent people that can't be trusted with money and simply don't deserve it. So they justify their lack of charity and contribution to society by saying everyone can basically pull themselves up by the bootstraps. Melinda Gates and Jeff Bezos's ex wife both seem to somehow deviate from this idea and have a semblance of morality though it didn't show as much from either one of them before they got divorced. Maybe just a show to build goodwill among the public to insulate them from smear campaigns.

I think he literally challenged the UN or something to give him a plan to end world hunger but he did it in a sarcastic "yeah yeah, I'm rich but no way even my wealth could fix that blah blah blah" way.

Then they presented a plan to him that was a couple hundred billion dollars, perfectly affordable to him, and he ignored it :awkney:

Truly, I don't know how these people sleep at night. Millions are dying, starving, sick, etc and you've got enough money to buy a continent.

F*ck him. What a leech. A waste of space.

I believe he was showboating on Twitter and said "If somebody gives me a plan Ill genuinely end world hunger". But the fraud he is he ignored it when presented the idea.

It's the same **** they did with Tesla. The thing that allowed Tesla to become what it is was everyone paying $300/share and soaring it to several thousand a share all while it had never turned a profit. Pure speculation.

Literally this. Amazon made $700B in revenue and is valued at $2 trillion. How is SpaceX at $2 trillion with no profit......... these analysts make no damn sense.

Are there any finance GGDers who can break this down because literally how? Typical valuations are EBIDTA times a multiplier - what makes Tesla and SpaceX so special? Lmao

It's literally investors imagining how valuable the company could potentially be...and that sets the "actual" value.

It's not real, basically. But they certainly are making billions of real dollars off that fake value.
