AOC takeover of the senate, a flood of progressives to the house, mini-Mamdanis popping up in towns and cities across America. Maybe I’m very desensitized but this would feel like the least salacious affair scandal ever. It’s not like there’s a happy home being broken up or anything. Melania dgaf either It’s just gross. And not because of the power dynamics. It’s physically gross imaging that crazy lady letting that man slide his diaper down to hump on her. I don’t think it buys much brownie points for Ossoff from the general public but it could get him a little boost among ravenous Democrats who are actively looking for someone to get behind. Of all of the things Trump has done, him having an affair is both A.) old news (see: Stormy Daniels), B.) so much less offensive than his worst crimes (likely child rapist) and C.) isn’t really relevant to the average voter. The only benefit is that Trump World is clearly spiraling about it, which shows that he’s guilty and that Ossoff knows how to get under his skin, but I think voters are getting tired of tabloid politics surrounding Trump. I think Ossoff’s coinage of the “Epstein Class” is far more politically beneficial than the Natalie story.
