Rather than chasing nostalgia, she could benefit from working with stronger producers, songwriters, and collaborators who would actually help her grow as a popstar. Instead, she keeps returning to Dr. Luke and trying to recreate the Teenage Dream/Prism era success that was also heavily shaped by Max Martin and Bonnie McKee. And in my opinion, Katy's partnership with McKee was always the real magic ingredient behind many of those hits. Imagine the embarrassment of being on the wrong side of everything, the hopelessly tragic fate of not having any creative vision and the constant need to rely on shamelessly milking your decade-old hits to stay relevant. She should do something like Gaga has done with PF, Shallow or Paparazzi on the Mayhem Ball or DWAS on Requiem - reinventing the entire song in such a way that reflects her artistic integrity. How is this different from Gaga pushing Bloody Marty....it's the same thing, the song went viral on TikTok so they are giving it another push. There is nothing wrong with it.
