It was pretty soggy and pouring rain but jezz it was not a hurricane or even a tropical depression. People were still going about their lives and going business as usual Unless the roof couldnt be closed for whatever reason this feels like an overraction to me. Did he not feel like doing this date for some reason and use the weather as an excuse? Considering rescheduled dates are a big deal for people who had to travel, book accomodations and even take time off, it feels to me like the threshold for cancelling concerts due to weather should be higher It was kind of bad. But jezz, it wasnt THAT bad.

And it takes 20 minutes to close. So if they weren't expecting it, by the time they reacted it may have been too late. And if the wind was an issue as well it could have caused problems with stage set up from a safety perspective. We knew for a few days that rain was forecast for Saturday. I remmeber on Thursday checking the forecast for the weekend and I saw over 20mm to 25mm of rain forecast for sat and thinking "oh thats a lot of rain, gonna be another ruined miserable weekend" So there was at least 2 days notice Like maybe there was reasons for the decision were not aware of I suppose. On the surface tho it feels like an overreaction. Unless the specific area the Rogers Centre is in was getting hit especially hard. I know storms like this sometimes locally can be a lot worse in specific spots London was hit really hard but thats like 3h away from Toronto. My suburb city is only half hour from Toronto and it definitely was nothing insane so I presume in Toronto was very simmilar. Just very soggy, rain at times got heavy and some wind gusts. But again, largely still business as usual. Not so bad that people didnt go about their day. Plazas were still full, the usual malls that tend to be full still were and I still had the usual congestion at the grocery store. Nothing felt different other than really crappy weather outside Edited 3 hours ago by Economy

This concert was actually at a venue without a roof and people have confused it with a similar venue. The gays know how to party

Thats why I asked if it has a roof or not cuz it was definitely bad enough to justify cancelling if ur in outdoor weather I assume its not the Rogers Centre then. They change names so frequently one can be forgiven for now knowing the difference It used to be called the Skydome (the one I think im confusing it for)

Now with this whole discussion i thought one was an arena and the one beside CN Tower is the Stadium They change names frequently then on top of that get simmilar names. This has to stop of course ppl will get mixed up I wonder if Rogers will Oligopoly sports like they did Telecom. If they do they better start coming up with some creative name and not just name everything Rogers
