It's the 23rd for most of the world now so, 15 years ago today Lady Gaga released her third studio album "BORN THIS WAY". Featuring multiple hit singles and fan favourites. Including the first and only song to ever use the word "transgender" on radio.

This album/era was a watershed moment for so many people, myself included. 

I would give anything to hear Bloody Mary & Heavy Metal Lover for the first time again. 

 

Bloody Mary remains her greatest instrumental achievement to date.

& Heavy Metal Lover still has her best lyric (she will never beat it)

Her and Fernando really put in the work on this record, hard to believe that they did all this on tour whilst she performed The Monster Ball every night too! 
 

To think there’s probably whole songs we’ve never heard that have never leaked from the album demos. Masterpiece.

What an album, what an era, what a concert. This came out when I had just turned 21 and has been my most listened album every year since then. 15 years already, this is insane and the wait from the New Years Eve announcement to almost 6 months til release date felt eternal.

What a special album and I never thought Gaga’s music would ever make me feel that magic again til we got MAYHEM. No disrespect to ARTPOP, Joanne and Chromatica but fans know this feeling.

That and the entire Judas era. My favorite live performance of it is this one

This era was such a HUSTLE for her she was everywhere serving EVERYTHING

To the little monsters who didn't get to experience it, you MISSED OUT

been obsessed with Scheiße since i stayed up to watch the Mugler livestream back in the day. Still obsessed with it now.
