Britney Spears spoke in British accent, offered cops lasagna during DUI stop

Britney Spears  spoke in a British accent, and offered to make officers lasagna at her nearby home when she was pulled over and arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in California last March, according to arrest records. 

She admitted she’d consumed one mimosa several hours before her March 4 arrest in Ventura County, but she denied being intoxicated behind the wheel. Police say they found unprescribed Adderall and an empty wine glass in Spears’ convertible BMW.

“I could drink probably four bottles of wine and take care of you, I’m an angel,” Spears allegedly said when asked to rate her level of sobriety.
reath tests administered at the scene reportedly registered blood alcohol concentrations of .05 percent and .06 percent, under the legal limit of .08 percent.

“Her mood changed from confrontational and agitated to flamboyant and compliant,” the officer said in the report.
“She also appeared to speak with a British accent at times.”

In CHP video of the arrest, Spears reportedly spoke in a childlike voice and told an officer she was on her phone when she allegedly swerved into other lanes.
She apologized for the behavior and invited the officers to her house. “I’ll make you food or lasagna or whatever you want. I have a pool.”

Well no... in the 00s they were finding any reason to besmirch her name. A DUI is genuinely worrying and potentially deadly.

You’re right, & she should/will be held accountable.

Just wish that could happen without it benefiting tabloid vampires (many of whom have directly aided/cashed in on her downward spiral).

She knows the game. She knows they've been hungry for her forever. She absolutely has the means, doesn't she? At this point I think we have to accept the fact that she just doesn't want to.

People (not here, elsewhere on the internet) look at this stuff as the reason why there was a conservatorship to begin with, and it infuriates me. I'm not excusing the DUI, but this woman is a survivor and you don't escape 13 years of psychological abuse and captivity without trauma. Not to be all Chris Crocker but people legit don't leave this woman alone. Her ridiculous family made her a scapegoat on the world stage, and the culture just goes along with it. The fact so many people can't see that really f*cking irritates me.
