Obviously the people who believe this sincerely (ie are experiencing religious psychosis) need help, but I just think the aesthetic parallels are interesting and Satanism as an aesthetic reference point is interesting. It’s not as if Gaga shied away from those types of inversions and controversies, if anything she actively courts them.
