I think that because after all the promotion saying that the era is over, releasing more content seems a bit weird (but I do hope we get the concert film sooner than later)

I just feel like that’s her way of saying we’re not getting any “new” content for the era and given that the film is just a recording of a show she toured, it doesn’t necessarily fall into that category. I could be wrong, but it just feels odd that they would’ve gone out of their way to film multiple consecutive nights of the tour only to let it collect dust somewhere.

Concert films always come after an era has ended for 90% of tours. 

The Eras tour is the only exception I can name off the top of my head.

I love the Mayhem era so much and more songs on the album deserved to be singles and/ or have a music video.

This era is the most memorable Gaga era ever for me and Mayhem has been forever imprinted in my life. I'd never forget this era in my lifetime. I became a full little monster during Joanne era and I feel Mayhem has completed what I was missing.

Joanne tour was filmed as well but never saw the light of day. Gaga is always going to have the reputation of someone with many ideas that won't get executed on or will get canceled. She's gotten better about not speaking on things until she's ready to release them, probably something she learned the last few years with ARTPOP Act 2 becoming an increasingly more talked about thing and her years of silence after talking about the Chromatica tour film. But she has had a long history of teasing of hinting about ideas that never get a commercial release.
