Lady Gaga posts about end of MAYHEM era

I just wanted to say - having aside what I already said multiple times about the music itself - MAYHEM holds a very special place in my heart; number 1 spot out of all of her albums. The overall concept of "embracing what you are - even the darkest sides - instead of trying to fix you" really made it through me like an instant light. Everything just made sense. Which is also ironic in a way, because way before (probably months) the album was released, this whole idea was really helping me go through life. She simply came to confirm what I already thought and worked in therapy. There's too much power in that. Forever grateful for her at being so thoughtful and reflective. God, I got emotional. I love her

I'd add, also, she really did the most defying thing with that concept. We all live in a rushing world thinking we've got to save ourselves from falling, but the radical idea of "just go with what you are" can really change our path. Not too many go with that. She's so, so intelligent. Thank you Gaga for MAYHEM, an album that'll be my side till my very last day

What an era it was; easily top 3 album for me by her. Onto the next, itll have big shoes to fill.
