Dont know Kylies discography well enough to really comment but I will say this:

 

Madonna is a unique and creative artist for sure but definitely more commercially successful than she is talented

 

Not saying she isnt talented but she is the #1 most commercially successful female artist of all time (#2 to Taylor Swift depending which metrics you put more weight on).

 

if commercial success was proportional to talent, Ud think shed have some Celine Dion/Witney Huston vocals, combined with Usher or Britney Spears level Dancing skills or something. She does not

 

And I know were not discussing them in this OP but neither does Taylor Swift or The Beatles

 

I genuinely dont get why the biggest legends in terms of commercial numbers and stats are always so average  (Ok Madonna is at least above average tho due to the creativity side of it)

They are both my fave pop girlies, kinda vocally and personality vise I prefer Kylie, her live vocals beat the studio vocals and her presence is just one of pure kindness and grace. In a way I'd also dare say a lot of the big and groundbreaking things Madonna did in a very big way, Kylie did first. But since Madge is a bigger and American artist she kidnda got the praise. Madonna was a bigger cultural disrupter thou, she was louder, more daring and stood grounds to make cultural shifts and figirences so that other girlies had their hands more free to express themselves. Madonna had better albums as whole bodies of work up until the mid 2000s, but Kylie did bettet bodies of work in the past few years in a more fresh way, rather than being trendy in how madonna was unitl Madame x, where I feel like she once again started taking a risk.

But on the other hand, Kylie has always had more beautiful costumes and her stages were always more next level, especially Showgirl and Les Folies, just a masterclass in stage design! But Madonna was always a bit of a more tehnical dancer. But that's kinda why Kylie generally sang better live, because she didn't do as many insane dance moves.

But I feel like one couldn't and wouldn't do certain things without the contribution of the other, and I REALLY hope they do a duet on the upcoming Confessions 2 album. Come on Gay gods. Come throughhhhhh
