The beef was squashed years ago, they both made amends a few times since then. Madge and Gaga both have said nice things about eachother since then as well. Also, Madge is a POP LEGEND for a reason. So many AMAZING songs, bops for days, outfits and performances. They’re not just holding a pointless and immature grudge but missing out on such wonderful material.

Honestly, I love Madonna’s music but EY has always been one of her weaker big singles for me. The lyrics and melody don’t feel like they quite match idk. Great video, though.

Eh I think if it were a different single it would look different. EY is just not one of her strongest imo. Now if you picked Deeper and Deeper or Like a Prayer? Welllllllllll

Thematically I prefer Express yourself and the video is iconic, buuuut there's something in the Edge of glory that makes me love it more. It's such a beautiful euphoric song that I can't help but adore. I just wish it had a better video!
