I think he needs to experiment and branch out more with his own music to really show off his vocal abilities, because he is very talented and has such great charisma on stage! I dont pay him much attention but I am always blown away when I hear his covers... I just need him to like find a way to put more of that energy into his records

He has a "talented karaoke" vibe to me. That's why his covers are so good - he can really sing.

But he doesn't make you care about him, his music or his point of view.

i can't say too much, because i am not a fan that knows his tea, but what i can say is, i would probably enjoy him if he stepped out of his box a bit more. i can understand his vibe based off what he presents during his live performances, but i'm someone that enjoys depth, complexity, and substance a majority of the time with music and art. a lot of his performances feel kind of samey. i expect to see a flip or a few, which, impressive, but very predictable at this point. 

i'm unsure if he's just inspired by the bowie's and harry's of the world, and that's great, but hopefully he finds more of himself over time. showstopping and the fashion are one thing, but when it feels like a costume, that's where i get lost. 

i wish him luck as an artist and performer. he has fantastic vocals

I think he’s got a great voice and is a showman and seems very nice. I think the problem could be that he seems so packaged and more like a product. Like the labels knew he could sing and was hot and they chose his bare chested jumpsuit aesthetic and everything seems calculated to make him seem sexy and accessible. It all feels a little contrived and calculated, and not authentically coming from him. But I still enjoy him.
