Michael has also either been trying or has succeeded in purchasing her masters from the first half of her career. It's likely that the full rights to her unreleased stuff could be part of the deal. I don't remember the particulars of her previous contract, I just know it contained enough red tape to prevent her from releasing Act II stuff on ARTPOP's tenth anniversary.
