This Met Gala was such a strange event - excessive, Drag Race-esque costumes standing next to barely embellished garments that look like they were pulled straight from Zara. Honestly, it was still fun to watch it live and see the conveyor belt of looks entering the gala...but considering the shear amount of wealth on display, AND the access these people have to the greatest stylists and designers IN THE WORLD, you'd expect to see a lot more iconic fashion moments...
