Head Empty 26,337
I know nothing about them but I heard PINKY UP for the first time yesterday and it's a cute bop. It did remind me a lot of JUMP by BLACKPINK though.

They can dance, sing, and their stage presence eats every time. plus Megan and Lara are producers and songwriters too, Manon writes as well. Megan is my bias and she’s such a huge Gaga stan, she literally brings her up in almost every interview, that’s why I love her even more. omg twin i looooove megan <3

StrawberryBlond 15,343
The entire way they were created is so old fashioned and unless it's a literal k-pop group where the entire point is to be manufactured, then it just won't work, and it isn't. It's so obvious that they're trying to get a girl from every demographic in order to maximise international interest and the public aren't that daft not to notice. It's also off-putting how so many of them are so young (some of them are under 21) and yet they're so sexualised, wearing less clothes than PCD in some cases. The shot of Daniela's cheeks in the choreo edit of Gabriela was totally unnecessary, when you move like that, you don't have to be wearing basically underwear. Their songs are bad as well, lyrics of Gnarly and Internet Girl in particular are ridiculous and bottom of the barrel. Pinky Up is more of the same and way too short, no wonder its flopping. The only decent song they've made is Gabriela, fans wanted more of that style and weren't given it. Of course they're not taking off. As soon as I heard them, I knew they'd be another Fifth Harmony in the making - having a couple of hits, one of them leaves to go solo, the whole band breaks up. Hybe are so stupid not to see this coming, the entire concept is doomed to fail in the modern age. Simon Cowell's new boyband is also flopping hard (he tried to make one before that as well, which no one even knows about, they were over so fast). 1D was the last gasp of success when it came to manufactured groups in the West. The Western market is wise to the gimmick now and think it's corny. They're not falling for it, they're over it. Not to say it'll never work again but it might take another 20 years.
