Leaked in a chat group, seems to be pretty short with roughly 2:30mins, but it's also in potato quality and most likely just recorded from the cinema, so who knows if the studio version adds another 30 secs or so. Pretty nice ballade, comparable to the intensity of Hold My Ham. Pretty happy with the three songs from the movie, they basically cover a very wide range of what Mother is known for 🤗

It sounds pretty incredible; I’m thinking this is the ballad she wanted us to eventually hear that was at one point intended for MAYHEM. Much better than HMH imo, from the LQ version it feels so big and soaring at the chorus - I love it.

But i have seen somewhere that it is not eligible for Oscars because Runway was the first track that played during the end credits, not sure how credible is that. Still, i hope they make it a single or just make a music video for it. Just like ARUTW or Look what I found

Genuinely phenomenal. Feels equal parts Celine, Disney power ballad and cinematic epic with a splash of Prince (I hear echos of “The Beautiful Ones” on the layered spoken vocal after the chorus). Can’t wait to stream tf out of this when it drops.

I think so, too. I can see why she would’ve opted out of including it on MAYHEM, but it’s also kind of wild to me that she could’ve slotted either Glamorous Life or Happy Mistake (or even both) before DWAS, but went with BOG instead

Wild that they would make that call, but it could’ve been because the song (as others have speculated) may have been written during the MAYHEM sessions, which would make it ineligible for an Oscar anyway.

The song may be one of her best ballads she has ever done. The vocals, lyricism, and hook is up there. Can’t wait for the official thing to release. It could catch on like ARUTW did because of how good it is.

Totally agreed, the tension is killing me! Power ballads are my jam, especially hers. I didn't know the ruling opinion on here re: HMH was that it's cheesy though? I always found it powerful and endearingly universal at the same time. When it just came out (with the video) everyone was quite positive, if I remember correctly. Anyway, we need this new song asap, that chorus explodes like a rocket.

The fans don’t really love a lot of her ballads, tbh. I completely agree about HMH: came at a hard time in my life, was genuinely very comforting, is a well-written and well-performed power ballad (which I prefer to DWAS, but that’s another story all together )
