What would you include in Gaga's biopic?

Not a MUSICAL biopic, but the Fabelmen's is truly a master work by Spielberg.

If a Gaga biopic were to be made, I want it to be her falling in love with music in her youth up until the start of her career, similar to how the Fabelmen's is Spielberg falling in love with filmmaking in his youth. I don't ned to see a recreation of the Bad Romance MV or of the 09 PaparazzI VMA performance, I wanna see Gaga and her artistic mindset being formed in real time.

Not just that, it blames his AIDS diagnosis on his queerness. And acts like he "threw it all away".

Made me truly uncomfortable as I watched it.

Oh the taste that you exhibited…I loved The Fabelmans, and that would be such a fun spin on a Gaga biopic.

Kind of echoing what @BrandyFinest said: I’d love a biopic where we see the genesis of Gaga vs a career retrospective. I think focusing on pre-The Fame with her in the Lower East Side should be the centerpiece of the movie and end with the 2009 VMAs/Bad Romance would be both a factual and glazed biopic.

Alternatively, an “en media res” biopic, with some of her eras being the plot vehicle and pushing the narrative, would be interesting as well. It would be frenetically paced, and illustrate how fast her early career moved (I.e., jumping from performing in clubs to the 2009 VMAs then to dropping BTW/the Madonna feud to breaking her hip etc.). I think it would be interesting to have her iconic performances anchor the plot while also propelling it forward.

That being said, she shouldn’t get a biopic in our lifetimes unless she has a hand in it ala Marry the Night music video, imo.

I really don’t like the thought of a biopic either. But yeah in case they do one I hope they focus on a point in her life. Maybe that special moment hasn’t even happened yet. I also would NOT want to watch anything about her getting SA’d.

Yes, agree with this. To take anyone's life and try to tell the story in a 2 or 3 hour movie is a tough task.

I enjoyed the Bob Dylan movie (Complete Unknown) for example because it didn't rry to do too much. It just covered a four year period and the storyline built up to one event.
