Now that Madonna's back at Warner, she has a lot more control as an artist and they're really going hard for her comeback. I think it's the other way around. Interscope is very supportive of legacy acts like Madonna and maybe Gaga right now. Madonna would've NEVER been able to make an album like Madame X with any other record label, let alone be given the budget to make music videos for Batuka, Dark Ballet, Crave, God Control and Medellín. That whole album screams creative freedom minus the Maluma tracks and Faz Gostoso, those seemed like songs put there to make it a bit more "commercial". Now she's back with Warner and of course they're setting up to make a huge comeback with Confessions 2 when she has said in the past that she doesn't like to repeat herself. I mean I'm here for it but truly seems like heating up the last nachos that were tasty when people said that Abra was Bad Romance / Judas 2.0. ItalianGuy 48
Listen as a fan from the start I have to say a trend has always been moving on fr an album while singles could have pushed longer. TFM only three singles?! If they didn’t push more there they won’t do it later. We are lucky.. BTW is her only era that had its full singles potential realized. At this point it’s more likely Gaga or someone close in her inner circle believes in this strategy. I don’t think it’s the label, it’s her decision Edited April 26 by ItalianGuy

I don’t think it’s the label, it’s her decision We were lucky with Born This Way because it did really good with the number of singles it had even though they had plans for a couple more (Scheiße & Heavy Metal Lover). Such a shame that everything after that has been mess behind the scenes so I’m really surprised that they didn’t push more for Mayhem now that it was FINALLY a well planned era that could’ve had a couple more videos, not the same amount as the cancelled/cut short eras. Just like Stupid Love was the lead and Rain On Me was saved as 2nd because she knew the push it'd have closer to the album release. The only thing I agree on this thread is that Vanish Into You deserved to be a single too, I don't know what happened there. That song earned it's spot on that sticker. off topic but gaga would eat as the white witch from narnia

She absolutely could, and I'd personally be all for that, I just think the way in which her and Michael's business interests appear quite intertwined makes me think it would be a joint venture. Hadrian 1,628
At this point, I think Gaga either just does what she wants or what she thinks she can handle. rent-free like your future nursing home?
