I think a big difference though is she was one of the leads and lived in the character and (seemingly) felt like they didn’t explore Lee’s full potential so she felt the need to make Harlequin. Where’s this is just her having a small cameo (about 2 mins total) as herself so I don’t see that happening. 
 

I’d love to be wrong ofc but I think if anything she’ll probably just wait till later this year to release a new album now, because I doubt her sessions on tour only resulted in 2 new songs and a Mayhem reject.

If that rumored collaborative EP does come into fruition it will be its own thing and likely planned and started work on before TDWP2. If there is any connection between the two, I could see Gaga deciding TDWP2 and Runway as a good launching point to tie into her EP release. The fact that Runway is credited under Lil Monsters LLC instead of her usual label suggests it was a fun, experimental passion project she worked on outside of her main pop releases like Harlequin. 
 

As it stands now, Shape of a Woman is a Mayhem rework. Glamorous Life is likely that ballad Gaga talked about during Mayhem’s release that she didn’t release on the album but said she had something in mind for it. With Runway being a bit more unknown in terms of when it was developed. That’s all I’d expect from Gaga from this project.
